Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I can't believe I didn't know about this French Market as its so close to where we live. Good friends told us we could get Calissons Almond Candies theTraditional French candies. My family love the taste of the candies from Aix-en-Provence and they have it here. We also tried their real imported FrenchΒ Β baguettesΒ with no GMO just good french flour and they heat up in the oven at 400 degrees for 6 minutesΒ and taste crispy and soft inside. Amazing market we will be back!

Came in today for French butter. Got the butter and a baguette and was warned by the gentlemen at the counter that my life would never be the same after trying the butter on the warmed baguette. He was right. AMAZING! I'm now in need of a side gig to support my butter habit. Delightful market. GO NOW!

I missed the opportunity to try foie gras in Paris and came here to pick one up. The store owner was incredibly helpful. The selection here is excellent.

Great place to find Karine and Jeff, Bonne Maman and Lβabeille Diligente products. If you enjoy these brands like me (especially Karine and Jeff, as they have good items for more hearty/savory meals if youβre vegetarian), I would say to go here! The store itself is also clean, welcoming and arranged well; so it makes for a worthwhile trip!

Wonderful wonderful market!! So much could be said about it. The selection is good, with a variety of pantry items, seafood, meat, and snacks! Great place to pick up a delicious sausage or chorizo to grill!! The only thing lacking is fresh produce. Despite being a specialty grocery store, the prices are fair! $3.50 for a delicious baguette, and ice cream cups for $5! The staff are wonderful, and know everything they sell, and provide excellent recommendations! Overall a great little shop, and definitely worth the time to visit and browse!
